From the 20th August 2007 BDC is offering up to 10 professional level participants the opportunity to join company class on a daily basis. Classes run 75 minutes and will be led by members of the company or guest teachers. Each class costs £5.

BDC’s continually evolving programme of education is designed to communicate the Company’s performance work through practical and theoretical elements of composition, performance and appreciation. Bonachela’s approach to composition is at the heart of encouraging participants to experience a sense of artistic and creative adventure through dance and a feeling of worth and personal satisfaction at creating their own personal movement vocabulary. Those taking part in the outreach programme will consequently enjoy a more informed way of appreciating the professional work.

The outreach programme consists of a set of activities from which schools/groups can select elements to complement their curriculum. The elements are:

* Workshops and Residencies
* INSET
* Resources
* Pre/Post Performance Talks
* Special Relationships with schools and colleges
* Extended projects
